What should I do if it takes me a long time to access DBS iBanking?

Firstly, check whether your PC meets the minimum technical requirements. There are numerous factors affecting the speed of Internet access such as the quality of your modem, server capacity, traffic at the time you logon to DBS iBanking, and the quality of your telephone line. There is also a difference between a 56K dial up service and a broadband service when downloading information. If you encounter slowness only while in DBS iBanking, please contact our customer service team.

Can I exit DBS iBanking by simply closing the browser window?

We strongly recommend you to click the "Logoff" button at the top right-hand corner to exit iBanking. This is the only way to ensure that your account has been completely logged off. If you exit the service simply by closing the browser window, your iBanking services will still be available via the Internet.

How can I prevent unauthorized persons from accessing my account information through the PC memory?

It is recommended that you clear your browser memory cache. Once your memory cache is cleared, previous records cannot be shown to the next user. Examples on steps to clear browser memory cache are:

Internet Explorer 8.0:
1. Select "Safety" from the Menu bar.
2. Pick "Delete Browsing History…".
3. Check “Temporary Internet Files” option.
4. Click "Delete" to confirm.

What should I do to avoid storing my Password when using a browser?

In Microsoft Internet Explorer, the "AutoComplete" function stores and lists possible matches from entries that you have typed previously. You can prevent any passwords from being stored by de-activating the "AutoComplete" function:

1) Select "Tools" from menu bar.
2) Pick "Internet Options" and choose "Content".
3) Under "Personal Information", click on "AutoComplete".
4) Uncheck "User names and passwords on forms".
5) Click on "Clear Passwords".
6) Click on "OK" to save the changes.

I have used the recommended hardware and software, what can I do if I run into technical problems when accessing DBS iBanking?
You should check your modem settings or connection with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if the problems are ISP related. Otherwise, please call our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 2290 8888 (press 6 and then 1, after selecting language) or contact us.
