Section 14 Trouble Shooting

How do I know if the transactions made through DBS iBanking are properly executed?

Accepted Transactions
A message reading: "Your transaction is completed" will be displayed on the screen, and a transaction reference number will be generated. Please record the transaction reference number for future reference. You can view the iBanking receipt by clicking the "Save Receipt" button. If you have any concerns or queries on any transaction, please contact our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 2290 8888 (press 6 and then 1, after selecting language) or submit a"Customer Feedback Form".

Denied Transactions
An error message will be displayed on the screen. It will show the reason that the transaction was denied, and will prompt you to enter the correct information again.

What if my PC becomes disconnected from the internet in the middle of a transaction? How will I know if that transaction has been completed?

All successful transactions will be given a transaction reference number for your record. If a transaction reference number is not given, please re-logon to DBS iBanking and check the transaction history and balances in the "Transaction History" and the "Account Summary" functions.

Who can I call if I cannot logon to DBS iBanking after I have entered my Username and Password correctly?

You can call our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 2290 8888 (press 6 and then 1, after selecting language).

Why are my browser's tool bar and "Back" and "Forward" functions not available on DBS iBanking?

For security reasons, these functions and browser tool bars are not available after you have logged on to DBS iBanking.

Why do I receive a pop-up message asking if I want to continue my session?

The pop-up message serves a security purpose. If you leave your PC idle for a period, this message will pop up asking if you would like to continue with your iBanking services. If no response is received within the allocated response time, the system will automatically terminate the service to help prevent any unauthorized access.
