To place a time deposit. A Time Deposit Account Number will be assigned to each account.
  • Your Time Deposit will be renewed automatically if no further maturity instruction is received.
  • Your Time Deposit will be linked with your iBanking profile automatically. You can verify this transaction through your iBanking Transaction History.
  • Deposit advice will be sent to you by mail.

    Notes:
    1. You can change the maturity instruction through the function of "Time Deposit Maturity Instruction Change". Change of maturity instruction through iBanking will only be accepted if the instruction is given at least 1 business day before the maturity date. If you would like to change maturity instruction on the maturity date, please enquire at any of our branches.

    2. Withdrawal or payment of the time deposit is restricted to crediting your bank account of same title upon maturity.

    3. Early withdrawal of a time deposit is subject to approval of the Bank and payment of interest and other charges as determined by the Bank at its discretion.

    Notes:
    1. If you wish to change any maturity instruction via iBanking, you should submit an instruction to that effect at least 1 business day before the maturity date. If you wish to change any maturity instruction on the maturity date, please enquire at any of our branches.

    2. Withdrawal or payment of the time deposit is restricted to crediting your bank account of same title upon maturity.

    3. For all time deposits which were booked by AFF, funds will be transferred to Core Current Account on maturity date automatically. If you wish to change the maturity instruction of those time deposits booked by AFF, please visit any of our branches.

    4. To change the tenor of time deposits to be booked by AFF, please use "AFF High Yield Product Selection" under "Customer Service".
